Raymond's Biography:

Hi! Folks,

I left school and served my apprenticeship to become a Spinner in a woollen textile mill. I worked there for twelve years. In desperation to get out of the mill, I joined Aberdeen Police Force, Scotland and was a Police Constable for 14 years 1967 - 1981. A long time ago.
We then had a small - not too successful picture framing business. Finally I worked with Shell until my retirement.
Kath and I have been married for forty years and we have two married daughters, Nicola and Penny, our oldest daughter Wendy isn't married yet. We have four grandchildren.
I love to write poetry but often have to wait for the Holy Spirit to give me the unction as it were. My hope is that in some way, the poems will glorify Jesus.
I have found that it doesn't really matter so much what you do, rather it is a case of surrender to Jesus. Only if we surrender will we have the victory.
