Clyde's Biography:

A life-threatening illness in 2005 and 39 day stay in the hospital followed by months of recovery had a profound effect on my life. When you are on your "deathbed", unable to move or do anything for yourself, your heart gets tested.  In the midst of this circumstance, I found incredible peace and comfort from God. Then when your body does a turnaround and there is no medical explanation, you begin to understand the sovereignty of God in a different way.

Although I had never written poetry before, I began to write inspired by this experience and my faith in God. Little by little, people began to tell me how their lives were being impacted by these writings. I began to realize that the inspirations and prodding I received to write and express myself came with a responsibility. My pen was a tool of the Master. The more I focused on allowing Him to speak his timeless messages through my pen, my own relationship found a depth I had never experienced.

"Inspirations of Grace" is a collection of some of my works and was released on November 18, 2008 by Tate Publishing.  It is a humbling experience to realize that I am capable of doing things I had never conceived of. It allows me to encourage others in their faith in ways I could not before.  My hope is that those who read these inspirations will be touched by the love and grace of the Lord and be drawn into the presence of the passion of His heart.

Born in Hawaii and raised in Los Angeles, California, then married in Bakersfield, California,Oklahoma is now home for my wife Robyn and son Zach.  We have been blessed with a wonderful daughter Amanda and her husband Nathan and 3 grandchildren Mikeala, Nash, and Ronan. The Lord continues to draw us closer as we journey to seek Jesus Christ and how to be His body.
